Highway of Heroes Stage

The Highway of Heroes Stage is the fourth stage of our journey across Canada to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Motorcycle Ride for Dad’s fight against prostate cancer and to show support for our troops. This Stage has been described by many as potentially the “Jewel of the Tour” and an event that will live in people’s memories for years. It is a Stage where our attention is clearly focused on the sacrifice of our troops and their families.

The Highway of Heroes Stage may only be one day long, but it has many characteristics that make it a very unique Stage.

On the day itself, we marshal in Kingston and Ride into the CFB Air Base at Trenton. This hallowed ground, as every Canadian knows, is where Canada accepts home her fallen heroes. It is where they rejoin their families and loved ones before the escort along the Highway of Heroes to Toronto.

The Vangaurd and Riders of the Motorcycle Ride for Dad Xth Anniversary Tour, representing hundreds of thousands of Canadians, will by their presence convey a respectful thank you to those heroes and their families. The Tour will then lead the riders onto the Highway of Heroes for a solemn and memorable ride into Toronto. Turning north we travel to just south of Barrie where be welcomed at CFB Borden for some entertainment. (as of yet undetermined)
